Performers: Kelly and Woolley

Performing: Saturday 5th October 3pm, Dyke's End Beer Festival

About:

Kelly and Woolley are an acoustic duo who hail from Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. They sing songs and play tunes from a wide variety of styles, but particularly Folk, Americana, Country and Cajun. They have been playing together as a duo for thirteen years and perform regularly in venues and at Festivals across the Eastern region, including the Cambridge Folk Festival.

Matt is a multi instrumentalist and plays in a number of orchestras. Matt played in post punk group Strumpet City in Brighton in the mid-eighties, and with The Lizards, a Cajun and blues band in South London.

Gary started playing the guitar and singing songs at the age of 14. Gary co-ran Salisbury Folk Club in the 90s and since moving to Cambridge to work at The Junction in 1994 he played regularly at the Mayflower and Cambridge folk clubs.

This will be Kelly and Woolley's third gig at the Dyke's End and we can't wait to welcome them back! Have a listen below.
