About the band: Imagine a two-piece band that can nail songs like David Bowie's Life On Mars, Queen's Killer Queen or Joan Armatrading's Love and Affection -- a bold, versatile and talented acoustic act who can pull off classic tunes that other bands don't attempt.

With their great stagecraft, creative arrangements and tight vocal harmonies, The Lightwaves have been amazing audiences since 2017, and have played over 150 shows to date in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

They have been featured extensively on Cambridge 105 radio, and their public appearances have included Chelmsford and Cambridge Foodies Fests, the St Ives Old Riverport Ukulele Festival, and Cambridge's touchpoint cultural events: Big Weekend, Strawberry Fair, Mill Road Winter Fair and the Town & Country Fair.
